WHAT IS HYROX?

HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.

Each race is hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, creating an immersive and electrifying race, where your spectators can support you from the very beginning to the very end.

This race format remains consistent across the globe, enabling global leaderboards & a cumulative World Championships at the end of each race season.

Accommodating both professional athletes, and everyday fitness enthusiasts looking to take their training to the next level, HYROX is the sport for everybody.

Have you been asking yourself what exactly each of the HYROX365 Workout Types entail?

Your coach can guide you on what they think would be most benifical to you.  

HYROX365 Foundational Workout!

Foundational training is a fairly straightforward class for you and your team to coach, as it resembles traditional circuit training. The objective of this program is to build baseline fitness in your athletes: Strength, Endurance, some aerobic capacity, agility and skill work.

Many of your athletes will find this class is an ideal way to touch many of the skills they will encounter in the races and to touch some intensity. But it is also designed to build confidence and competency for your athletes, a great first step for athletes beginning their Hyrox journey.

 

HYROX365 Power Workout!

Muscular strength and endurance is critical in a HYROX race. Athletes need to recruit tremendous muscular power, to move weight over time, and to do it while fatigued.

This is a skill that needs to be trained.

For your athletes who need to build muscle and strength, the power class is ideal. It can be a useful tool to provide to your highly conditioned endurance athletes to help them achieve balance and be more prepared on race day.

 

HYROX365 Engine Workout to see how it can benefit your athletes! 

The Engine workout was designed to boost endurance, aerobic capacity, lactate threshold and tolerance. The class utilizes a series of intervals, compromised workouts, and sprint efforts to develop speed, VO2 Max, and endurance.

Your athletes will benefit tremendously from this class format, particularly your powerful athletes who need to work on their aerobic capacity.

 

HYROX365 Complete Workout!Complete Training is going to be the most race specific workout you can give your athletes.

A blend of aerobic and lactic conditioning with strength and HYROX specific skills. Completetraining will prepare your athletes for the specific physiological demands they will encounter in a HYROX race. It will challenge them physically and mentally, while building a level of familiarity and comfort in the discomfort of these challenges.
